Spiritual Support
For many patients and families, serious illness raises questions about meaning and purpose, including why illness happens at all.
To help people cope with spiritual distress, Montgomery Hospice offers non-denominational spiritual care. This care is available to people of any or no faith. Our counselors help people find answers that fit their own beliefs.
Even if patients and families have their own spiritual support, they may want to talk with a Montgomery Hospice pastoral caregiver. Our counselors have extensive experience helping people who are struggling with questions related to the end of life.
Our chaplains have ties to diverse faith communities and can help patients find a spiritual support from their own tradition, if that is what they prefer.
We also respect the wishes of any patient or family member who does not want contact with a pastoral counselor.
Call Montgomery Hospice at 301 921 4400 if we can help in any way.
